Joshua Vasquez is an aspiring journalist studying journalism at the University of Houston. As a news assistant editor at The Cougar, UH’s student newspaper, Joshua covers campus and community news, exploring how local and global events impact UH students. He is especially interested in the intersection of politics and everyday life, examining how policies and political decisions affect communities. He thrives on engaging with people, understanding their perspectives, and bringing their experiences to light through thoughtful reporting.
